I made the mistake of giving him my mobile number. He seemed like a nice chap at first but then turned into a stalker and wanted to buy me presents which was a bit wierd.

Got to be careful what you say as he threatens legal stuff and jacky chan if you 'diss' him

By the way John, if you knew you had to buy a new turbo at the time, why stick the oem one on and not something a bit pokier? :)

2 reasons:

1 - I was at Scooby Clinic and I didn't want to end up with a slagged up piece of sh*te mother fookin turbo made from a bin lid strapped on with a tie wrap and sticking through my boot

2 - JP was mincing around....

I thought you really rated scooby clinic John... after all didnt you say their place is like a scrap yard? must remind you of the good old days in liverpool

From what JP told me you two had an "in depth" discussion whilst hanging around... Which of you was actually "in depth"?

To be fair to SC, I couldn't fault the actual work they did on my 1 at the time... they were very good. It is the thought of what they COULD have done given the upgrade possibilities... and the 'examples' they to view had in their workshop/cow shed.

Just the mention of JP sends shudders down my spine.

After the embarassing mpg I have been getting (282 and 275 miles on a tank) I decided I was going to get heavier on the right foot. I haven't exactly nailed it everywhere but when the excuse was there to spin that turbo properly I took the chance more often. Anyway that's the foreplay over with, now the figure is in for the last tank full and it was.................... 258 miles on a tank

I thought I was giving it more beans and the economy only dropped by 17 miles on the tank. I am glad Norris McWhirter is dead as this is one record I don't want to hold! The way my luck is going if I tripped over and fell in a skip full of tits I would still come out sucking my own thumb.

Gents,

This is a complete record of my MPG, the cost per litre every time I filled the car up and an average MPG for the time I have owned the car.

I Have spent £803.24 on VPower since January covering 3585 miles.

Like my previous thread entitled 'Do I drive like a fanny?' I think the answer is still yes!

Ah well, car went into my garage today for 3 months as I'm off to Dubai

It's called Roadtrip, only takes 10 seconds to fill out once you've filled the car out. OCD it is yes! But it saves keeping the receipts for petrol and working it out manually.

Lol i am proud :D What i was meaning was i'm not one of those that work out what mpg i get from a car, i don't really even know how to
Got a mate who is pretty obsessed with mpg & knows the caculation formula by memory & does spread sheets for mpg. For me i don't care about mpg as long as i'm enjoying myself :D :D :D

On the motorway, when other sporty cars come along side you, do you get the urge for a quick blast with them?

im thinking that might be part of my problem... :?
