The new R9SY B

Postby Chris B » Wed Apr 14, 2010 6:44 pm

Got the car back from Matt on Saturday,Matt fitted the STI track-rods and ball joints and new steering arms that were needed to finish the suspension/handling,the car feels great around the lanes,as for the open road its now fooking mental, the spool up is instant and you really have to hang onto the steering wheel,Matt says there is still another 40bhp to drag out,but its very quick as it is and the waste-gate sound is great to listen to,even for an oldie like me.
Heaven can wait....I'm playing with my scooby.

Been away for a while as I was in no rush and Matt was developing some of the new parts, the new rotated kit and fuel rails, but the wait has been worth it,the car feels very quick and has seemingly no lag at all,and the waste-gate sound is great.

what with discussions over dump valve sounds, now you're perhaps tempting us with waste gate sounds !!

You'll have to run a short vid with tickover and a 'bit of the other'
