How did you get on in Norwich (if you went?)

If you remap my car, will further mapping by yourself (or anyone) be cheaper as my ECU will have it's license? I don't really understand it.

Norwich mapping was cool - the main roads were just perfect and with most people keeping off them they were empty too.

If I remap your car, there is no license fee to pay.

Most of the remap work is done in the initial mapping session so subsequent changes to the cars are much cheaper to map for around £100-£150 on the whole.

Why no license fee? (not that I'm complaining...)

Because I don't use Ecutek software. Hence why much cheaper for the initial remap.

Is the WR1 mapped by prodrive... or did they map one then copy the data from that ecu and stick those ecu's on the other 499.... if you catch my drift?

If that's the case it would make sense to have a remap to suit each individual car.

It is a decent map but it is a generic map that they copy to all the WR1's.
