It's on the road mapping mate,I was out with andy for about 45 mins and you do 2 power runs at the end to get your bhp and lbf figures :-)

Maybe a good reason to set up a topic about this car in the garage forum?

I got 349bhp and 345lbf and that was with a H&S downpipe and RCM induction kit (plus uprated spark plugs etc).

That was my first and only map the car will be getting, feels perfect now and how the car should have been when it left the factory IMO.

all you need to know mate....

Andy Forrest is doing it.

It will gain 10bhp just by him breathing on it buddy!!

He is one of the most prolific and knowledgeable people in the scooby tuning scene and knows his onions for sure.

Money well spent and no reason to doubt anything.

Let us know your mods and results...all the best.

Can any gains be achieved without changing any hardware?
Just by having Mr Forrest map it?

for sure....just pushes the standard conserative map closer to the limits. Not sure how much is to be had but some for sure.

Although you will be spending money to re-flash the standard ECU i.e. EcuTek which is probably a few hundred quid...which can't be changed without having another go.

Much better if you can to change breathing like exhaust and intake stuff to maximum gains for the re-map.

Little bit of a waste of dosh IMO, get other stuff done at same time to get the best out of it.

whatever it was on his website, 500+ Vat or something like that?

Was more power than I was expecting but Andy said it runs very well, even ran cooler than most WR1's that come in too?

I would of thought the Wr1 would of been cheaper to remap is there not a ecutek licence on the ecu with Prodrive using the ecutek software ???
