Hi Guys.
Just got back from having my intermediate service, oil & filter change.
Also got them to give it a run on their dyno. I had the run because I recently changed the stock panel filter with a green one.
The dyno runs were within 4 months of each other on the same machine with the same technician. The only difference is the panel filter and the ambient temperature.
The dyno team advised me that the Dastek dyno takes ambient air temperature and pressure into account.
The results are in!
There was a 1.1bhp increase (which I agree is negligable and could be caused by anything, however, the power on my WR1 since installing the filter has come in earlier, and where it used to trail off, it doens't any more...
Have a look at the graphs for yourselves - I'm really happy and it didn't cost much at all.
The graph shows my last dyno run vs the one I had today - check it out!
