as long as you go recirc dump valve you'll be ok, vent to air will cause stuttering.....turbosmart vta does any how !

your d/v in the wr1 standard is well up to the job. to be honest mate if you want your car sounding the bollocks get yourself a de-cat downpipe so your here that turbo winning up & a proper induction kit to suck that air up (but make sure u get it mapped after.)

The above combination sounds awesome and its more than loud enough you'd never want a noisy dump valve. I'll put up a sound clip once I've had mine re-mapped this week so you can get an idea 8)
Going round corners just got a whole lot faster...

i have the hks ssq blow off,sounds fecking brilliant and is very loud.costs around £250+ :wink:

a full decat is a must do mod on scoobs.

Lightly modded car (like Spikes) the difference will not be so noticable when moving from a standard DV to a VTA. However, lightly modded or not, moving from a VTA back to a DV then the difference is far more noticable.
