I don't know if superchip do a map for the wr1,

Your best bet is to go for ecutek remap if your wanting more power,
Could also do with a decat and induction kit to see bout 340hp,

The WR1 be safe in the knowledge that, short of strapping yourself to an Acme rocket, there's no quicker way to get from A to B.

ya loads of people iv spoke to say a induction kit doesnt do any favours, i think for induction kit to do its magic it has to be supported with a well modded engine.

the standard airbox is fine for moderate power levels, just get a good panel filter to stick in it.

An induction kit usually has a too big of a pipe so the MAF needs re-scaling to compensate for the larger cross sectional area.

Best bet as said above, is a good re-map with stand alone ECU or re-flash of the standard ECU via EcuTek.

Probably good to switch exhaust and get a de-cat too matey...as with anything there is no 1 thing that is a huge step forward...takes a few things together.

Superchips didnt do a map for the WR1 when i checked 2yrs ago. I was told that the STi is a highly tuned version of the WRX, and that the WR1 has been tuned even further by prodrive and subaru to get the max performance / reliability combination. They recommended leaving power as standard unless changing other major components to extend reliability. They could make the car more economical by smoothing out the power curve but said power gains would be marginal and not very noticeable.

Ran over 20k's with aps caik(cold air induction kit) never had any issues, sounded awesome too, provided it's rescaled properly on the remap, I dont see any problems.

Perhaps you'll get issue's withi the way its been mapped, even the way it has not been mapped at all
