Dump Valve?

Postby 500tie » Tue Jul 14, 2009 12:48 pm

Im going to fit the blitz nur spec s to the scoob not bothering with the centre section doesnt seem to be much point as it allready has the prodrive centre pipe.

However i was wondering if anyone has a dump valve fitted and wondered if it caused any engine problems.

I was looking at the HKS SSQV but i had this on my wifes astra vxr and it made the car perform awefully, well i think it was the HKS as it worked fine before i fitted it and again after i took it off..

Please advise.
Sooty,

The recirculating dump value does a perfect job and quietly.... why bother paying money to make more noise if you are going for the Blitz?? You won't be able to hear the DV!!!
[Just incase this gets lost in translation, I am not slandering you, I know people can be sensitive to these harsh words.]

Do you still use this Imposter? If so, why? Is it noisy?
