I recently had to change the wiper on my scoob and i can certainly recommend the new bosch aero style blades.

They not only look 10 times better they also work 10 times better, they dont skip around the screen or squeek and i didnt notice any wind noise at present.

they also arrived the next day very impressed.

Use the PIAA silicone implant jobbies from Scoobyparts on both cars, above 45mph don't need wipers on unless it buckets down.

Not that it ever rains up here anyhoo

I use the same ones & they're great its like its like they coat the screen with rainx everytime they wipe.

I've got bosch aero wipers on mine was the first thing i did to the wr1, The ones that were on the car were well fooked,

i cant remember what wipers i got but i too replaced the standard ones with something better from that same website if i recall correctly. i was hoping to get a wiper like the focus which is like one long flat blade as that is really good but they dont appear to do them for the scoob which is a shame. i also never realised how much stuff you can look into with wipers.. some are speed rated, others are noisy at low speeds.. craziness... lol

Put areo ones on mine when I had it too, much better than standard !!

First thing I bought for my my new car too, along with an alloy tax disc holder

When you install these bad boys make sure they are tight as my NS arm needed a wee squeeze with the old pliers just to be on the safe side.
And yes i did have on the correct adaptor

When you install these bad boys make sure they are tight as my NS arm needed a wee squeeze with the old pliers just to be on the safe side.
And yes i did have on the correct adaptor

Got my wiper blades today from Scooby Parts, will be installing very soon

Mind & use the screen prep solution that comes with them.

Didn't get round to installing them yet due to the rain over the weekend. Did notice the screen prep solution, seems like it rainx

Also noticed the driver wiper didn't have spoiler on it like the original has yours?

My drivers one does have a spoiler, it was an option in the drop down box when ordering, think it was a few £££'s more than the one without but not much.
If you haven't fitted them yet see if you can return it & exchange for one with, scoobyparts have always been fantastic when i've delt with them so it might be ok give them a bell/email to see.

i try not to take it out in the rain but a few coats of rainex and dont really need to use them the few times i have been caught out

I opted for the carbon fibre ones, they don't have the option you mention, where I've noticed the satin black do, doh!

Aye it was satin black ones i got.

BAck to the original post, the Bosch blades are very cheap. £22 for both blades. I use PIAA and have done for a few years now. They are around £20 per blade.

To avoid the "focus" look, I'll stick with the PIAA

Still not got around to installing these wipers yet lol.

So WR1 are yours the satin black or carbon fibre ones? And do you have the spoiler?

PIAA Sporza in satin black. I'm not a fan of Carbon fibre against the 23G paintwork.

Carbon looks good with 23g but in very small subtle bits, agree things like carbon bonnets & boots etc really doesn't go with the paint though.

I went for Satin Black as i have real carbon bits & don't like the fake carbon look.

I've finally installed the wipers, I'm loving it!
