Interior plastics...

Postby MaverickUK82 » Thu Jun 11, 2009 10:25 am

Has anyone on here colour coded the plastics in the car, dash surround, stereo surround etc to match the Ice White - I reckon that would look pretty neat...

*EDIT* I meant Ice BLUE!!!

There is one in the for sale section with a bit of colour coding, looks nice.

Some WR1 owners have done this or gone for the carbon fibre look.

I really like the idea. is it possible to do a really good job on it though? High Gloss that matches the exterior precisely?

Nah, I am with Caveman on this. The black on black just looks gloomy.

The silver looks cheap IMHO... but so do gold alloys and you had them too.

I just don't like the black. Sorry...just my opinion. So I have ordered a new dark silver set to see what that is like. I can always change back if it looks sh$te.

Was also considering this stuff too. Looks quite cool and easy to do.

anybody used it over here?? A few NASIOC peeps have done it.

I like the black interior myself, had a bugeye with the silver interior & think the black looks better.

Don't paint the black interior as its quite desirable as its the spec c interior & can't be bought very easily.

Yes the guy at REVOLUTION in newcastle told me the same thing too.
I bought a spare silver set as was thinking about adding a different colour.
