I got Subaru to do mine, as I didnt want to bugger the job up myself. It is possible as a DIY job, though. Simply remove the headlights, then unscrew the rear panel, heat it up to soften the glue so you can pull it away from the light, carefully reach in and unclip the orange triangles, then re-seal the panel with the glue and screw it all back together.

that is well nice! how much did subaru charge you for that as if keeping mine it is going to get a fair bit of money thrown at it,

split on keep wr1 or buy rb320

I think they charged me around £50 :(

But then they have done it before, and actually claimed that dealers down South have charged over £150 for it done!!

I wasn't too fussed though, as I think it looks great.

Also, that's a tough choice. The RB320 is basically a black STi with a few unique badges and different wheels... for a lot more coin!! Lovely motors though, but I dont know if they are worth the premium over a stock STi.

Mind you, same thing could be said for the WR1.

Good choice to have though, mate! RB320 if you're fancying a change, I guess!

Back to De-tango !

You could ring Subaru Dealers, Tileys of Bristol as it's a service they offer. Mine was done by them but a few weeks before I bought the car !
