Turbo timers....

Postby No347 » Mon Sep 22, 2008 3:53 pm

May have been asked many many times before. But here goes again.
Question is do I really need one?

On all my other scoobys I've had turbo timers but they have always been already fitted.

Now I have purchaed my WR1
(completely standard other than the HKS dump valve)
I'm wondering do I really need one?

I'm not stupid and never just switch it off after a good drive. Even if I've been sunday driving.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated....

Hav'nt got one fitted, take it easy for a few miles to allow to cool down before switching off works for me.

Had one fitted to a old pajero 4x4, a pain in the ass, you'd get out the vehicle shut the door, you could'nt lock it until the timer had elasped, usually by that time you were too far away to lock it via the remote
