turbo timer

fitted a turbo timer to my car last week but.... the car wont lock when the tt is active?? im stumped..... any ideas???

This was the same on my old pajero4x4, had to wait for the timer to finish before you could lock the vehicle.

The last 3/4miles before I get home or wherever, let the car warm down.
So don't wait 2/3 minutes waiting to cool down on tickover.
