APS TOP INTERCOOLER - HELP REQUIRED

I'M THINKING OF BUYING THE INTERCOOLER ON THIS LINK. IVE AGREED A GOOD DISCOUNT. CAN YOU PLEASE ADVISE IF I CAN SWAP MY EXISTING STi UNIT WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS OR IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE TO CONSIDER. ANY HELP GUYS WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATED AS I DONT WANT TO THROW MY MONEY AWAY.....THANKS

CHEERS FOR THAT......IS IT WORTH BUYING AND WILL I NOTICE ANY BENEFIT ESSENTIALLY HOW MUCH BETTER IS IT THAN THE STANDARD PIECE OF KIT, THANKS AGAIN

You will not notice any difference at all over the standard intercooler, which does a very good job up until 360-370 BHP.

Total waste of money i am afraid. They are known to be no better at keeping inlet temps down than the OE cooler.

Turn your caps lock off mate, it looks like you are shouting and makes it a bit harsh to read.

Cheers for that, I'll give it a miss. My standard unit is has some bits of debris in that I'm struggling to get out or get rid of. Is there any way of taking it off and flushing it?? thanks again, apprreciate your advise.

I had the APS tmic, the difference between the standard unit is not worth the money tbh, I suspect now....I would have got similar power with the standard unit, now fitted a APS fmic

So agreed with Mark it aint worth it :wink:

Debris inside the actual pipework?

Yes, the TMIC can be removed - takes about 5 minutes at most.
