Are WR1 wing panels the same as the STi?

Postby Scooby_simon » Sat Feb 02, 2008 6:21 pm

Just got the car back from the shop that fixed a dent in the wing. They have done a piss poor job if fixing it. The door crease line does not continue onto the wing panel (it's curved on the wing with no actual crease), I cannot believe they have hammered the old one back out. Are there differences between the WR1 wing panels and the STi's ????

OK, thanks, guess they have tried to hammer it out and not made it work properly.

fairly minor crunch in the station car park.

Took them a week to fix it. panel is wrong paint is not 100% right and they have managed to feck one of the alarm sensors inside the car and dent the rear near side panel behid the rear passagger window...

I'll be going a little postal on Monday

Paint will be VERY hard to match without blending in down the side of the car.

We had a nasty car park dink on one door which I chose to have just the door painted as the car was fairly new. I can see the colour difference at certain angles and it makes me really mad.

Colour looks fairly good. Bit there are a couple of pin holes in it. Looks like they did not bother to make sure it was smooth before they laquered it.

Surely to get the colour right is harder than matching the lines of the panels.... Why do people not understand that any work you have done on your car must be perfect? WNAKERS

Not a bad idea.

Will see what Subaru insured say on Monday when I go postal at them.

Might pop up to them Saturday AM.
