As you know recently had a APS one fitted, after the initial lag it has to said is far better than I imagined
Also one thing that really surpasses any expectation I had was how drivable it is in town traffic due to the extra lag making it so more lazy and easy to drive, where as before any thing after 2600rpm when the boost came in it was just off, but now it takes until 3800rpm for the boost to be noticeable !
So fit a front mount to make it more drivable round town
What are your thoughts Bro ?

so, it's slower now? lazy to drive? I think I'll stick to TMIC!

Our car hits 1bar (4th gear) by 3.3k - 3.4k revs and then it goes
BANG, DIE YOU BUGGER, DO YOU WANT TO GO BACKWARDS

Nothing like a proper rally car as it doesn't have the stickers.

Hmmm
on normal fuel mine hits 1.4 bar at 3k then 1.5 and holds this for a while before dropping boost down towards redline.
zero lag and charge temps under control.
I think I will stick TMIC too thanks.

Mapped by Bob Rawle.
In fairness Donk one would have thought you should be comparing stories with someone that has a FMIC on a 2.5 engine?

So glad fmic is fitted it's far more drivable friendly below 3800 with my extra large turbo lag
Every scoob should fit a oversized turbo and fmic !
You know it makes sense
do it !

I would agree that the big turbo & fmic does make it easier for everyday as the turbo does not spool up like a small hairdryer.
BUt when it does spool up....................................

I'm sure the turbo will come into its own when the 2.5 built engine is in place.
