Mudflap Problem

Postby presa900 » Mon Dec 03, 2007 2:04 pm

Went to put my prodrive flaps back on for the winter last weekend and ready for RallyGB to find I could only fit the rears, which was not only annoying but looked pretty stupid this weekend in Wales

One of the screws on the offside front is turning in its hole and will not come out. Anyone had this problem and know of the best way of solving it :?

Not had any probs with mine but i have never taken them of.
You could try drilling the head of the screw just be carefully you don't press to hard with the drill & it slips, go slowly.

If you can get it over to me i have a fix for this. I replace all the shit plastic retaining clips with proper captive nuts and stainless fixings. They look miles better, and you can get them out in a years time.

May have to drill the existing one out first but that's not a problem.
