Yep, my Scott Lowe ones (identical) started to rust after about a year.

The ends and damper rod are still stainless! exactly the same as the other ones.
Actually, i think they are probably chrome as opposed to stainless. Whatever it is it looks good for a year and thats about it.

£80 for chrome plated crap. I got some spair one somewhere will get some copied in s/s

Posted: Fri Nov 02, 2007 8:05 amI have the scott lowe ones and the end have rusted a bit but they hold the bonnet up and are a million times better than the daft steel rod that gets in the way.
