Wheel Re-furb....

Postby SPIKE LIKE MIKE » Tue Oct 02, 2007 2:43 pm

Dropped my wheels of to these guys, they do a 3 day turnaround on most wheels.

Charged £40 per wheel inc remove extg tyres, carry out re-furb, fit new tyres full ballance and fit to car - which i think is very reasonable.

Most places Ive seen have a £45-60 charge just for the re-furb.

They can match any colour but "may" need to send of if non standard colour

Will let you know how they are saturday.

Got them back yesterday - VERY happy the colour was changed to a metallic graphite but the finish is excelent with great depth of colour and lustre :D

Highly reccomend them.

They will be doing a set of WR1 wheels in teh next few weeks aswell so I will get you some before and after pics(the wheels are in very bad shape at the mo)

WR1 Wheel refurb

Postby chiroman » Sun Oct 07, 2007 10:09 pm

Glad wheels OK Spike.

I popped in here last Fri and will be taking the WR1 wheels at end of month. They do want to charge more for colour matching though.

Subaru uk and Speedline confirm paint code is PPG 226.662. is there any other info on this?
