How do I find my unique mfr number ?

I was wondering is it possible to tell the unique manufacture number of the car from the chassis number, the tax disc was not in the car when i got it!!! And the cert from prodrive was not with the car when i bought it. Will put the car in the list of cars then once i find this out!!!

If you phone the garage it was bought new from they might be able to assist mate ?

If you have got the service book it will be printed on that, if not as bbigman says try and find the supplying dealer
