Rear Brakes

Postby WR 1mposter » Mon Aug 13, 2007 7:23 pm

My rear pads are all but done.

Do I

1. Replace them.
2. Fit rear ap's and be done with it.

If option 1 is selected which ones ?
If option 2 is selected where is the cheapest place to get them ?

Replace the pads.

Ferodo's will kill your discs if you go anywhere near a track and drive fast (aswell as being overpriced)

I have Performance Friction Z rated pads - cost about

All I am saying is that I ran up against brake problems last year at Cadwell and thought long and hard about upgrading to the big brake type kits such as AP.

In the end I went with Performance Frictions discs at the front and PF pads all round hoping that these would do the job.

I will cut a long story short by saying, they are up to the job and can last full 30 min sessions on every track i have driven without doing anything other than slowing my down very well :)

As for the spare
