just trying to work out if I need to sell one of the kids to pay the V power bill.....
I'm still having far too much fun to come up with any meaningfull MPG Figs at present.
Most of my driving is either up to the Sailing club (so not that slow, but fairly constant cruising) or to the station and back (short trip).
Suggestions on what I might expect ?
When I'm not driving I'm Skiing !

Simon, As azyman has already said your right foot controls what you pay, and mine is one expensive right foot I find it goes something like this... Carpet slippers blue rinse driving, can't manage it for even half a tank but usually get 300 miles max approx 25 mpg Usual everyday driving making use of the 1 for what it was meant for, smiles smiles and more smiles, 200 miles to a tank approx 17 mpg ouch! Its worth every penny though

17 is better than I could get when thrashing my old WRX so it's an improvment

I wouldn't say I thrash it everywhere, lets say spirited driving from time to time

expensive right foot?! damn right you have I'd followed you remember !! if your car does 300miles to a tank i'm inclined to think you have had a remap, your car goes TOO well for standard aswell...

Used to get no more than 220 in standard form The fuel economy improvement is mainly due to the mod's that have been done.It makes the car more efficent.... So while your putting on your slippers, I've lit my pipe and smoked you

Just watch out for those porches coming out of the pits, wouldn't want you swallowing that pipe

I get on average around 25mpg on the short local blasts around the fens but got over 30 mpg on the cruise up to Scotland including a lovely spirited drive across through Kielder Forest on the A68.... what a road and avg 80mph on the motorway.

I've been allowed behind the wheel of my WRX PPP for a week or so now and I can't believe how much friendlier it is with the petrol. Clearly this is a different story to Azyman! Hopefully when our mods on the WR1 are finished it will have a improved carbon footprint like Pasty experienced honestly the mods are primarily for the environment!
