Most of the contents were pure water for me in my old cusco can for daily use.

I wouldnt close the loop myself unless you really had to. I had to, having spun on my own oil once at Snetterton and didnt fancy leaving a trail of oil for all and sundry to crash on at the ring.

btw It didnt happen until the speed got much higher but once you have the catch can in place (I would def recommend one) you will know what is being breathed - knowledge is very important.

From the drain hole at the bottom i will run a short pipe with a bung in the end. (think the can i have at home has a -8 goodridge fitting on).

I will clip the pipe under the car, somewhere very easy for you to get too.

Every now and again just pull the bung and empty the tank. easy peasy.

Is it possible to have the drain pipe run along the underside of the car and placed on top of the exhaust with a remote plug operation? This way, when you are being tailgated by a pleb you can dispatch the oil into your exhaust fumes to ensure maximum coverage of the car behind!

Dont worry your pretty little head.

It basically means you will have a nice anodised fitting that screws onto your can, and from that fitting will come a nice piece of stainless braided hose.

dash6
dash8
dash10

etc are sizes.

Your press reg and fuel ilines will all be -6 stuff

I'm not worried. One likes to learn, forget, learn forget.

Does the 8 correspond to diameter and mm by any chance?

Nope!

They are English fittings. IIRC -6 is 5/16" or 7.9mm ish
