Sticking Revs

Scenario. In traffic in 1st gear coming to a stop foot off throttle, clutch in and stop, the revs then jump up 3/400 and hold for 1/2 sec at say 1500rpm then drop to tick over

Sounds to me like the "flux capacitor" is on teh way out mate...best go to see "the doc"

sounds more like the extra load sprocket shaft to me mate

if it's disconnected itself from the wizbang accelerator that could be the issue...
