Sticking Revs
Posted: Tue May 15, 2007 10:43 pmScenario. In traffic in 1st gear coming to a stop foot off throttle, clutch in and stop, the revs then jump up 3/400 and hold for 1/2 sec at say 1500rpm then drop to tick over

Posted: Wed May 16, 2007 7:37 pmThe extra load on the engine might cause the revs to jump when the aircon kicks in (aircon uses 9bhp)...but may be not by 400 revs.

Sounds to me like the "flux capacitor" is on teh way out mate...best go to see "the doc"

Have you tried going easy with th eright foot when stationary?

The negative battery terminal was loose, so possibly
not giving enough connection so hence the miss and possibly
