Brakes clunking and grinding

Any one else get the brake going CLUNK when left the Car for a couple of days, Terrible grinding of brakes as well

Really off putting for the first mile as you feel the brakes may lock up or fall off ??

Yeah, I get it too.
It's the pads sticking to the discs, the clunk is as they separate. A couple of good presses soon has the discs cleaned up and ready for action.

Mine does too, especially if you put it away wet (the car that is)

Yeh the pads get stuck to the discs Brian ... if you've been driving in the wet the moisture causes the disc to corrode and are pretty much useless for the first few minutes of driving.

Just thank god you don't have carbon ceramic!!!

They sure are !!!!

Went over a mini roundabout yesterday because the car would not pull up !!!

(Mini roundaboud is only 100 yards out of my drive)

talk about scare the life out of me and my family. !!!

I thought they were made from tin foil and sticky back plastic...
