Guys,
Seriously thinking about getting a newer louder exhaust, but I have a few questions & concerns you may be able to help me with.
Will my warranty remain intact if I only go for a cat back system?
Will I need a remap for the above?
I do allot of motorway miles so want to make sure there is no droning, is there anything that can be done to ensure this?
What systems are generally regarded as the best all round (cost, tone, ease of fitting etc).
Thanks for your help in advance
Steve

I would have thought that louder exhaust plus droning go hand in hand.
I had a blitz cat back that is much louder that the standard system. It is reasonably quiet until you put your foot down and then it really sings. Some people find them too noisey. I love it. Mind, to sum the situation, I find most systems TOO quiet after getting used to the blitz!

Cheers,
What does your dealer think about the mod, are they cool with after market back boxes?
I was thinking of either going for the blitz or the Vortex.
Did you get a remap?

i just put a vortex back box on mine, improved the noise level no end but for the really noisy ones, you need a de-cat system which will need a re-map.

I guess I could add a back-box now, and then do the whole decat and induction thing in one go later along with a remap. Sweet

There's a Vortex back box on ebay going cheap, would this connect straight on my existing pipe until I get the decat section fitted later? Cheers guys, Like the idea of pop's and bangs!!! Espcially as it will drive the Mrs and neighbours nuts!
