Just about to purchase my first WR1 but there`s very few Shell garages locally! What`s the best thing to use in an emergency & what effect will it have on my pride & joy? Any advice is much appreciated !!

You can probably put diesel in yours and it will still run faster than a WR1

Was going to mention this but you got there 1st IMHO BP ultimate is SH*TE It costs more than Optimax(up here it is, not sure down South) You get far less mpg & car dosn't seem to pick up as well. In case of emergancy i use Super & add some NF race formula OB(+6ron Millars only +2ron).

They are interesting figures.
On other Scooby sites people with knocklinks rate Optimax as good or just better than Tesco 99 RON.
BP's stuff doesn't seem to agree with their cars.

My car seems to love Tesco's feul fella, seriously. Although I have been advised that it has no detergent additive to clean the injectors etc so a tank of BP Ultimate (which does) is a good idea every 3/4 fill ups.

At least that will leave you with one! I worked out i'd use around 3 gallons on fuel to get to by nearest shell garage and back when i had my WR1.
