WR PlusA few months ago, pre WR1 in fact, Crossroads garage on the Fosse near Halford were talking about a WR1 plus kit. Could have been posturing to get you to order from them rather than other dealers of course.
If it's real then anyone know if it's around yet? If so is it just cosmetic or is there anything useful in it And of course is it warranty friendly?
Ive heard of this Plus pack from Crossroads as well.
Im sure that a WR1 owner was going to try a WR1 with the Plus Pack installed. Havent heard anything yet, mind you it was a few weeks ago now. Will be interesting if any others know what is in this Plus Pack as its getting me exited THE WR1 RR DVD http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/wr1/phpBB2/ ... highlight=
Ive had all my info from Scoobynet as well..
Still no news on the PLUS pack THE WR1 RR DVD http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/wr1/phpBB2/ ... highlight=
The plus pack is definately a reality ... Crossroads are still in negotiations about it though. Defo contains massive AP 6 pots I think - possibly Ohlins Suspension also.
another option box to tick for the customers !!

The Ohlins suspension sounded awesome ... about 4k though so pricey. If I had the cash available they would be on in any case!
How can they Justify 4 K on Suspension ???

Brian ... I thought the same until I was explained what the suspension actually was - and found out more info for myself.
Ohlins supply the suspension on the Koenegsegg CC Supercar - and the set-up is based upon that!! Fully adjustable with a number of different settings, one of which makes it rock solid and feel like a proper go-kart around bends. Very very clever system - definately 4k justified if you're serious about handling and are planning many track days!
WR1 Plus kitWe took delivery of our WR1 from Crossroads and even before the launch they were talking about WR1 Plus.
It included different rear lights, twin front lights similar to the Morrette conversion, front and rear strut braces, de-cat and front brake upgrade. These mods were fitted to their own STi 8 demonstrator but that's as far as it went. Crossroads garage have actually got a WR1 demonstrator which has at present been fitted with AP racing brakes, WRC rear spoiler, chrome mesh intercooler grille and WRC bonnet grille and also front splitter. The bonnet conversion and the rear spoiler were done by SGM Race Paint of Banbury and he's made a really great job of it. Chris B
Sounds fantastic, can anyone get some Photos of the Crossroads WR1 ?

I'll be up at Crossroads finally getting my car back around October 1st - will get loads of pics of Jon's car whilst i'm there.
im sure ive seen a make of suspension that can be electronicly controlled from a box ont he dash.
Height, hardness, etc ? I wonder if this 4 K set up is the same one ive read about ? THE WR1 RR DVD http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/wr1/phpBB2/ ... highlight=
Lol funny you should say about the spoiler chelspeed. I had orginally ordered one and changed my mind at the last minute because I hadn't had the chance to see it in the flesh!!
One of those mods which would look better on a fully stickered up car rather than a standard WR1. As soon as I can get 4k together the suspension is going on!!! I will hopefully getting a ride out in the WRPlus car soon so will probably want the setup even more after that!
That does seem a lot for suspension, maybe i'm getting tight in my old age! LOL
Do i understand correctly that there aren't any engine mods with the pack? Chris
No Engine mods due to the Warranty
I agree with Gangsta over the rear spoiler, would look great on a stickered up WR1 , but a bit OTT on the standard car. THE WR1 RR DVD http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/wr1/phpBB2/ ... highlight=
In my opinion the WR1 is styled enough so to start chucking rally spoilers and different bonnets on it is, in essence, destroying it. Being a special edition also it would probably damage the resale value.
I'd love to get a bigger turbo on it one day - perhaps after the warranty is gone and I can do what I want I will.
keep us all posted ont eh Plus car as we havent seen any new pics of it yet, just some old pics from Scoobynet.
