Rear Brake pipes needing replaced

Postby seanyb » Tue Nov 29, 2016 7:33 pm

Hi guys, got a pre mot check done on the car and just below the offside rear floor there is a break pipe connector block its where the centre pipe meets the rears all four pipes at the block are corroded, has anyone replaced the rears and if so is it a big job not sure but looks like it runs over the fuel tank (hope not)

they do run over the tank as std and therefore if you wish to remain as OE then the tank will need to be dropped tom access

most commonly simply re-route them as its more cost effective
