The one has a VF35 turbo doesn't it with improved roller bearing for better spool up that others.

My question is, has anyone dabbled with changing it to the VF36 which is a twin spool turbo. Assume it would fit but is there a benefit? Not looked into this before and if would need a remap if I did?

the twin scroll units use different headers, up-pipe, down-pipe and system than a "single scroll" and because of this also require a sump change from the GC8 squared style used on the majority of new-age cars (also requires dip-stick & tube and internal baffle plate)

personally the t/scroll cars are fantastic but you will lose the traditional off-beat burble due to the tuned equal length manifold design - replaced by a more m/bike style howl on full chat

Wow, quite a complicated change then and prob not worth the hassle. So much for just swapping the turbo then!!
