Blip in 3/4th when giving some beans

Happened a couple of times now when I'm putting foot down on motorway or dual carriageway in 4th or 5th (not both but can't remember which) it has a little hick up at 5/5.5k. Loosing acceleration for a second & then back to normal. No bangs just the hick up & the emissions light comes on dash.....any body had same problem or know the cause? Doesn't do it driving around town only when powering through gears on motorway

hiya bud just wondered if you had it remapped after you put the decat on , or it could be that noisy dump valve you've got on causing a loss of air putting a warning light on

Hi pal, no didn't have it mapped with decat just a resistor fitted to prevent lights on dash. I'm not sure it will be dump valve it does it at 5/5.5rpm powering through, I was under impression that dump valve only working when you let off throttle to release boost pressure were I had foot planted. Might have to just take it to specialists
