Advice with pads..

Hi guys im looking to get some front brake pads ordered today, the ones im looking at are the Brembo Sport (£156) or the Red Stuff (£117), these are from scoobyworld, any advice would be great thanks.

My advice would be to speak to alyn at as performance...!

sounds like RRP - can easily sort the Brembo ones at a better price.................just call the office and mention the forum for a deal

would't touch the E*C.................

Hi there i recently had fitted the brembo sport pads from Alyn, excellent service and the pads are excellent as well. And a better price than you said earlier,

Thanks for the advice, any yes ill be calling Alyn when I get chance tomorrow.

Wouldnt use either. Go for Ferodo ds2500 pads.

presume you haven't used the new HP Sport Gary??

we are also a Ferodo Racing agent but sell the HP SPort in preference in this apllication over the ds2500 - not only is it better priced it also offers a more linear "bite" across all temps than the 2500 and generally offers a more OE feel all round just with higher friction

I got a set of Ferodo DSUNO pads with my WR1 - it says that they are for Race Use only - are they dangerous on the road as they need heat to work?

they will work from low temps BUT they are pretty much full on race pads and not something i would use on a road car personally.........
