Parking Brake Sensor

Postby Brookesy » Sun Sep 02, 2012 9:27 pm

Hi, I decided to replace my Subaru standard headunit for a new sony 2 din DVD player and I'm really pleased with the results. One problem I do have is that I need to connect a wire to the handbrake sensor for the DVD to work. I'm not interested in bypassing the the sensor I just want it to work as it should do. Has anyone ever done this? If so could you please tell me where the parking sensor is and the best method to do it?

Cheers mick will this fix work for all stereos? Heard that on the new stereos some of the mainstream brands have put something in place to stop people earthing them.
