Boost question

My car is standard and according to my boost gauge in first gear it's reading
1 bar then through the gears it's reading 1.1-1.2 bar,I thought it should be reading around 1.4bar standard
Was just wondering if this is correct or is my car not boosting right

a lot depends on the quality of the gauge and where the reading is taken from.............


you will also see different (smaller) boost readings from the lower gears thro to higher gears

best way to check is to get a decent clear piece of road and start from around say 3K in 4th gear, go to full throttle and let iot pull thoro to 6K ish and monitor the boost
