Hi I have recently had the clutch changed on my wr1 after the clutch change it has developed a gearbox oil leak has anyone had this problem or know where its leaking from? Engine oil seems fine

I had a gearbox oil leak about 6 months ago not long after buying my wr1, it was a cracked rear gearbox case, had a new one fitted and was fine then, there is an oil dipstick for gearbox in the engine bay to the side but behind the intercooler

If you have an oil leak now from the Gbox which you didn't have before clutch change you should go back to the garage who did the work, get them to lift car on the ramp and discover where the leak is from eg which oil seal. It's easy to damage seals when dismantling/refitting drive shafts or propshaft. Also ask whether the crankshaft oil seal behind the clutch was replaced.
