Trackstar Folder

Should be with your Trackstar folder documents in a small plastic bag marked "to be opened by dealer only" The contents include.

1 x metal tag on key ring with number stamped on tag. This will enable dealer to supply replacement keys.

1 x small silver sticker with pin number for alarm, this is contained in small plastic bag

1 x Subaru credit card size trouble shooting guide for alarm system

1 x Certificate of compliance category one alarm signed by Subaru, contains information vin, alarm evaluation, alarm ecu serial number etc.

1 x Trackstar certificate of installation

1 x Trackstar user guide

In my Leather case

1 x Service book

1 x owners manual

1 x Cat 1 Alarm system operating instructions

1 x WR1 performance pro package registration card

1 x SRS airbag system "what you should know"

1 x Subaru assistance manual

And 1 x style plastic CD case for tax disc holder contains fitting instructions 2 x small alan keys to unscrew tax disc and 5 x spare mounts
CD cover has WR1 Sti / Subaru on front cover

All above should be with the vehicle.

Hope this helps

I have non of that. I have 2 keys which 1 has never been used which has a small silver sticker on the back. It has a 4 digit number.

How would i try to see if the code is correct?

The silver sticker with code maybe alarm code, shouldnt be stuck on keys though

Speak with the last owner you need all the other docs as verification of alarm etc, plus you need the key ring with code stamped to order new keys.

Set the arm as normal via the fob, then manualy unlock the car, the alarm will sound pull down the tray punch in the four digit code, the alarm will stop if the code is correct? The code can also be changed to a number you will remember.

no but iv been pm'ed by a member on this forum with the instructions on how to reset the pin code to whatever you want without the previous pin.

you must have a working key though.

i have the alarm booklet which tells you how to change options on the alarm. and i have the alarm certificate. just dont have the 2 stickers with the factory code on.

so iv set it to my very own code :)

probably a useless post here... but there was a link posted up sometime ago with a link to download the alarm stuff.

covers changing numbers, codes to activate different settings etc...

was called Sigma M30 codes or something.

yes thats just the normal stuff that can be found on the net,

scoobypedia has it on,info is for setting bleeps on for locking car, valet mode, adding other fobs etc.

the info i passed on is for people who have lost the pin numbers and allows them to reset the system and choose there own number,

this isnt common knowledge and something i wouldnt openly post on forums!!!

yeah i dont think its a good idea giving it out unless someone really needs it.

it could cause people to reset other peoples pins to try and steal the wr1. but it would still need hot wiring or a replica key cut!

totally agree mate thats why i pm'd you.

saves 50-75 quid from the stealers to do it.

In that case bud, can you PM me too?

Not sure if I have any codes at all, but have changed battery twice and was left without one for a few weeks during some work I did on it. Never had to use the keypad, but always good to be safe!

Cheers
