Standard Turbo

What is the standard turbo on the 1, is it an IHI? Is it different to a standard STI turbo?

The standard turbo is "NotBigEnough" :lol:

VF35 I think - thats what I sold mine as anyhow... :lol:

Cheers Mega, just wondered because all I can see on mine is 'IHI Turbo' on the front. I wondered if it had been changed in the past cos the heat shield has been cut away on one side...

My turbo did have it stamped on it somewhere actually on the turbo I think... aha found my old pic.. does it look anything like this?

No I dont think its at all related to the power output. I have been told the turbo is made for 320 but will do 340ish at a push. You would have to be running crazy levels of boost to get 350bhp out of a VF35 from the power stats ive seen on scoobynet over the years. However im not technical so if someone wants to prove it with some graphs and physics then be my guest :lol:
