Sounds about right mate. Mine's remapped and hits just over 1.4 and used to hit approx 1.2 standard.

It's worth noting I haven't driven it since the start of October so I may be wrong

Tip of the day, if your boost gauge ever shoots up to around 2.1 bar, get it checked out immediately. I believe standard internals take 1.4-1.5bar boost max. I think standard turbo boost at around 1.2-1.3bar before remap but been a long time since I had the std turbo on

Which always reads about 1.5 on a Defi unit.

I think most gauges over-read slightly.

Cheeky buggers!!

No one told me what the gauges should be reading so how was I to know 2.1bar was wrong for a highly tuned Subaru?

Also they weren't flashing or beeping as I later found out the limits hadnt been set by the dealer that installed them. :P

In fact most people I spoke to said you should be taking note of, Fuel Pressure and Oil Temp which were all reading normally when I had my issues. So boost was thought of as more of a nice to have than something that provided something I needed to keep an eye on.
:D

Jeez, these people must think im a...
