Getting rid of gearbox oil smell?!!!

Hi all, could anyone suggest what I should use on the underside of my car or exhaust to get rid of gear oil smell?! The repair has been done now so just want rid of the remains that are on exhaust etc, engine gunk or clutch/brake cleaner any good?! Thanks Richard

degreaser works pretty well. but apart from that, it is just a case of driving round for a few days and putting up with the smell until it has burnt off... :wink:

Ok cheers I'll give it a go, the worst has already hurt off 250 miles after repair but still have the odd whiff now and again!
