BC coilover settings?Hi all, i am readjusting the ride height on my bc's for winter, had been 330mm at front and 350 at rear going back to standard just wondering what settings people are running there dampers at how many click front and rear??
Height wise I got my car raised quite high on BC BR Coilovers to ensure it makes it over speed humps with 4 in the car. As for the settings, i used different settings depending on track / road use.
Nurburgring: 15 clicks front / 18 clicks rear (Rough bumpy track) Bruntingthorpe: 20 clicks front / 22 clicks rear (flatter more even track) I tried 25 front and 28 rear at brunters for one of my first laps but it was far too bumpy for the chicane before the straight so softened it off. For winter wet snowy use you want them soft for maximum traction so probably 5 clicks front 8 rear or something like that. For better turn in with less understeer the rough guide ive found out is that you want to soften the front and stiffen up the back slightly. If you are getting oversteer you want to stiffen up the front and soften the rear.
