New Clutch

Postby Steveyk » Mon Oct 17, 2011 6:26 pm

Had news on my car from Adam today, apparently the clutch is sh@gged. Question is, do I replace it with standard or go for the Exedy stage 1? I'm not planning massive power upgrades but it would be nice to have a bit of leeway with the clutch. :?

Scoobyworld reckon the stage 1 is good for a 40% power increase, which by my man maths is 125bhp give or take.

Advice please

Standard Exedy clutch going in. All the guys who recommended Adam were spot on, he's been fantastic.

Fingers crossed I don't need a new flywheel now!

I think the Exedy/Daikin warranty requires a flywheel skim. Had mine done by local eng. co. Then needs new dowels too.
