what headlight bulbs ?

Iam thinking about buying the HID headlight kit, anyone got these fitted ? Also are they H1 or H4 bulbs ?

you can get the "blue bulbs" as an alternative which are very bright

So I did.

Got mine from Scoobynet group buy GB 177 in 2006

Made in China, by Xenon Light Source.

Had to send one ballast box to china, no prob, took couple of wks for replacement.

They're brilliant esp main.

Both dip and main done.

Kits are even better now as smaller ballast boxes.

Bulb sizes are main HB3 and low H1.

Colour temp 6000 slightly blue.

Just passed MOT no probs today.

Drive in traffic with beam lowered and crank it up on open rds main beam, halogens are like acetylene lamps in comparison.

Also they only draw 35watts each with a bit of a switch on surge
