RCM OR BLITZ NUR SPEC ?

Hi Peoples, Got a nice dilemma which i cant decide on. Ive got an RCM Header and up pipe which im gonna get ceramic coated before fitting.
I just cant decide what exhaust to go with....Stick with the full RCM with sports cat or go with the Blitz Nur spec with a Ninja 100cell sports Cat.
I know the RCM looses a bit of the Impreza rumble and thats what worries me a bit as i like the noise! (Who doesnt). But the workmanship on the RCM Header is second to none and at the moment just dont know which way to go!
Any feed back on your systems will be helpful ! I will be have another map done by Dunc once fitted.
PS; I will have an AfterBurner Vortex Backbox (Angled exit burnt tip) available soon, Retails at Scooby world for £204. Offers invited. Sounds lovely. I will do a full advert in 'For Sale soon'. Anyway in the mean time Help!!

Had mine fitted for a few years now .. Still mint and sounds the dogs ..

Few Option you can have

Team ice 3" for Bad boys

RCM 3" with rear silencer for Rude boys

RCM 3" with Center silencer and rear silencer for Gay boys

And RCM 2.5"Style ... For pussys


As for Blitz ... I here there a bit loud

Im thinking bite the bullet and keep it all RCM! They aint cheap though!
Quality bit of kit no mistake.....Just gotta decide on rude boy or Bad boy!
Dont really want to decat and f#ck about with mot's etc. What system is the 3" sports cat version at RCM Rocko? Badboy? Dont tell me its Gayboy!!? lol

I've been checking out good old youtube and found these couple of videos if that helps. I personally think the nur spec sounds the mutts and the RCM loses a bit of that lovely burble. Then who knows exactly what set up either car has!

Anyone know how much this kind of mod affects insurance? any horror stories?

I have the very same full system thats on the 2nd YouTube clip and YEH, it does sound like that which is great and amazes people as they just expect the low notes of the burble.............


.......... BUT..........

IF YOU ADD into the remap the opportunity for real pops and bangs, ie slight over fuelling on lift off together with a very slight advance in ignition, it will make you grin EVERY SINGLE DAY !(Just ask your mapper--mine was Alan Jeffries {EngineTuner of Plymouth]

You do learn (with your right foot and a good ear) how to control it, when to apply it, WHEN NOT to annoy the police car behind you and WHEN to give it beans !

People ask me if I have anti-lag !!!! Nope I don't .... but can you see that you can change the sound of each journey to suit yourself.
