Grille Badge replacement

Looking to replace the front Subaru badge with a new one. I have taken off the surround with the grille and removed the clips that hold the mesh inplace. How does the oval badge come out of the tunnel? I've been pushing and pulling and don't want to break the surround. Any advice gratefuly received.

warm it up with a hairdryer then use some fishing line to ease it off!!

Fook me that was soooooooooooo easy, came off without a fight, cleaned off the old faded paint mechanically and put some new on, looks like new. Just need some sticky pads. Jobs a gud un. :lol2:
