EBC Brake Pads

Has anybody ever had problems with EBC pads not fitting in the Brembo callipers? tried to fit redstuff pads and they were so tight I had to tap them in with a hammer. Not good, obviously.

I've filed the paint off the ends of the backs and now they fit perfectly, but I wondered if anybody else has had this or if it's just me?

Are braided hoses worth fitting too?

Can't comment on the pads but yeah the hoses are worth doing. Not expensive to do and gives a nice firm brake pedal, the rubber hoses will be past their best now due to age.
