decat and mot testing

Hi new member, can anyone explaine what hapens when a full decatted wr1 goes for an mot, what about emission testing? thanks guys

Well I answered the question :lol:

Work around 1
Get a sports cat centre section that you can easily swap out when required - some cost up to 500 notes!

Work around 2
Get a sports catted full exhaust and get it fit just before MOT.

Work around 3
Find a dodgy garage but not many of these around now as they are cracking down on them.

I dont have this issue with std exhaust... At the end of the month however, thats a different story :)

Ring around tuners in your area and asked if they know anyone !

Or whoever fitted it aske them if they are local !

Hi Thanks for your help, thought as much just needed conformation, not had a decat before, looks like it might not be worth the bother for general road use, might just get a S&H rear box. once again many thanks. Martin :D
