is it slipping at all?
If from a standstill you put it in 4th and rev it and release gently does the car stall or does it squeak and pick up speed?

just give it a full beans launch which cleans the plate - common problem i think

Setting off normally not thrashing it in 4th gear should stall the car...
if it squeaks and picks up speed slowly then chances are the clutch is slipping...

My clutch also judders from a standstill or trying to reverse. Tried a full-beans start and ended up with whiplash and the smell of a tortured clutch. I know these aren't the most refined cars in the world but my old WRX was much smoother. Seems to me anything much below 3000rpm trying to pull away and it judders, above this it's fine.

I do not notice this with mine.

How much damage do you reckon a 'full beans launch' as you put it does to the clutch?

You have to drive them gently before 3k rpm and not just floor it with the oem map - if i booted mine from low rpm in low gears it used to almost kangeroo. Solution = Remap from Dynamix :)

Anyone tried revving the bollocks off it and dropping the clutch in 6th gear?
