Postby G-MAC 181 » Fri Sep 17, 2010 7:34 pm

Fitted a new battery in the car, but just been out and the car seems to be lacking a bit power, the car is running perfect, it has an andy forrest remap and a couple of mods but just does not feel as resopnsive as it was yesterday especially off the mark and mid range. the battery was disconected for about 40 mins because the one i got first was incorrect, ant ideas guys?

Gaz.

Was that because of the LENGTH of time it was disconnected ?

Is that likely to happen to anyone's whos been remapped ? Presumably it keeps its memory if only off for 15 mins then ? Like when I changed my battery.....

Really? My battery recent went flat - (hadnt drove it for a week and left the interior light on  )

It was proper dead - wouldnt even unlook with the key fob. Anyway once my Mrs's 1.0cc Aygo had bought it back to life i went out for a drive. Was still popping and banging at certain revs which Duncan had mapped in so mine hadnt reverted back to the original map

you must of had a dual map put in then mate, as some use the de-mist button as the map switch instead...
