Had new brakes sitting in my garage for a while now just couldn't be fooked fitting them,

But lately the brakes were getting worse, The brakes were red stuff and there shite

Here was the red stuff pads that came off today

These were on the inside of the brake calipers so could not see that they were that bad, The out side pads still had a lot of life left on them,

Be happy. Mine looked only 'worn' when they were on the car and when they took them off, they fell apart. :?

For some reason the mechanic did not want a lift back home with me

Yer i got them just in time, Any longer and the discs would have been fooked aswell,
Any reason why the inside pads wore twice as fast as the outside pad?

i would check that the pistons are all free to move and also that both sides of the caliper are bled correctly (you'd be amazed how many peeps ignore the 2nd bleed nipple)
