Pop over, I can do that for YOU. You'll feel a massive difference on your drive back over the Cat'n'Fiddle!

hi there it was a special red grease they use in ralley cars instead of copper grease it tends to be thicker and the pads dont move as much in the calliper this could have been the problem ? but i asked him to do the rear drive shafts ,they were regreased and a new seal fitted as there was an oil leak, the cost of this was alot less than subaru were going to charge and they said it might not solve the problem well done Allan at AS. :D :D :D :D :D

Good to read this update. Now let's hope those struts know their place and stay SILENT !

Keep us posted mate.

Split the struts you said........ sounds interesting. Does Alan think that this really is a long term cure ?

no mick not the struts, the rear half shafts or drive shafts removed them and lubricated seems to have done the trick.he also put a new seal in as it was leaking a bit from the diff, anyhow no more knocking!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D
